Astartes Midnight (also known as "Astar" or "Gerrofffoutofit!!") is a drow or dark elf hybrid - somewhere in his heinz57 heritage is a big cat with long tufty ears. He can shapeshift at any time into one of four forms: pure lynx shape, lynx-elf, pure elf, and his last little surprise, a lightning form. In his home dimension he is the spirit of chaos, and the other people who live there are very glad he travels a lot.
He's a flirt, a womanizer, a bounder and a cad - but he's also cute and fluffy.
Hold onto your shiny valuables, people - Astartes is in town and he'll steal anything that's not nailed down (plus a few things that are if he's brought his pliers). Once upon a time, he lived in Mesopotamia and was revered as a god, something which has left a lasting impression on him. He always carries on his person two kris knives and usually a fair amount of other people's property.

People have often assumed that because they know what drow are like, and that they know what lynx are like, that they therefore know what Astar will be like. These people are, to a man, wrong.

Astartes Midnight was created after a few too many nights of reading RA Salvatore and going to cat shows. He is the property of vladimirsangel and appears in several stories she's written.
